Plan C - Day 1

Posted by CorrosiveEye - April 22nd, 2013

MilkyTracker | About Plan C | Day 1 Song

Things I've learned

1.Record Notes

Press Space to set MilkyTracker in record mode. When the "Rec" button is in red, milky tracker will record your key presses.

2.Set Volume of Note

In the third column of any channel, you can type in hexadecimal numbers to set the volume of a note

3.Volume Fade

You can make a note fade out by recording a series of notes in sequence and setting a volume value for each note that is lower than the previous.

4.Echo

You can make a note echo by placing a copy in the next beat with a volume value 1/4 or 1/3 of the original

5.Create Samples

You can create your own samples in the Sample Editor by pressing Ctrl+S. You can then right click on the grid, click new, select size of sample.

6.Generate Basic Waveforms

You can create a basic waveform in the Sample Editor(after creating a sample of course) by, rightclicking the window the the blue line running across it and selecting generators.

If you want it to loop, check "Foward" which is right next to the "Vol" button in the middle of the screen.

7.Instrument Editor

You can edit samples in the Instrument Editor. Many of the sliders use hexadecimal numbers.
